Twin City Tour:
This popular tour of the twin cities on the border, collects you from your accommodation and escorts you around the regions most visited attractions.
Starting at Lake Hume & the Weir Wall which houses the Hydro Power Station, we walk across the dam wall overlooking the vast body of water, 6 times bigger than Sydney Harbour, that falls through the 29 spillway gates, the sound is amazing!
Just around the corner is the Bonegilla Migrant Experience, this offers a rare opportunity to step back in time to learn about the migrants who made Australia their new home in the 1950s and 60s. The buildings still stand and have been furnished to recreate the time they were in use.
From here the tour heads back into the heart of Albury on the banks of the Murray River to the River Deck Cafe for lunch or a picnic in Noreuil Park.
Canoeing the river, museums (art, army & heritage), botanic gardens, parklands, playgrounds, lookouts, cafes, restaurants and bars can all be a part of the tour upon request. The tour concludes with trip through Alburys CBD to the top of the main street leading to Monument Hill looking down over the city.
Regional Wine, Brewery & Distillery Tours:
If a cellar door tour is what you’re after, then Rutherglen, and the Alpine & King Valleys have you covered.
We have 3 huge wine regions right in our back yard that also have breweries and distilleries littered in amongst them. Accompanied by award wining eateries, these cafes and restaurants which are sometimes also inhouse, pride themselves on offering paddock to plate options and unique menus that will make you want to come back for more!
